The results are in for the textile erosion experiment.
The weather over the past few weeks as we all know have been wet, very wet so the only elements that could help was constant rain, because of this both bundles had to be brought in on the only nice day we had had in a while. They took a while to dry enough to bring them in and put them on the radiator to dry all the way through before unwrapping them.
If you remember the Natural bundle had only bark in it, because of this and with the rain I had already thought nothing may come of it, there were a few marks on the fabric but only dirt, with a little bit of green from the moss but due to the rain this had not had time to grow through the fabric. I am planning on doing more experiments with natural bundles.
You could tell from the start that the rusty metal had done its job and it felt like Yule all over again as soon as I started to unwrap it.
The patterns came through one by one
Now I am left with a jar of metal bits ready for the next project …
