This is something I came up with while not being able to sleep & while i was also trying to work out what to do with the loved shirts that use to belong to my grandad. After all it seemed a waste to just leave them sat in the drawer, my grandad would never of wanted that especially as he was a very practical man.
So here you go a simple no sew apron tutorial all you need is an old shirt and a pair of scissors.
Get your old shirt
On each arm cut half way up the cuff seam
Cut all the way down the arm until you reach the arm hole seam
Then cut down the bottom seam of each arm
Cutting around each arm seam leave what would of been the bottom of the arm still attached to the front of the shirt
Cut the back off the shirt going right up to the bottom of the collar
You can either leave the shirt front as it is or cut on a diagonal from the collar to the part of the arm which is now the tie to your apron. Simply slip it over your head (you may have to undo some of the buttons)
